Resolving the real-time motion of electrons in complex systems is a key to enhancing the functionality and understanding the underlying mechanism of modern materials. Future studies using ultrafast capabilities with attosecond x-ray pulses brings closer the possibility of following electron dynamics combined with site specificity. Here we will show our first calculations in which we are able to resolve the electron dynamics around the Dirac points of graphene by using x-ray attosecond transient absorption spectroscopy.
